Your adventure begins by getting picked up from your hotel and heading to Setumbu Hill where you will witness the Borobudur majestic sunrise and watch the mist rise as the sun slowly bathes the volcanos and terraced fields in its warm embrace. You may want to continue your adventure towards one of the most unique edifices on earth and be the first to arrive at the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple.

 

 

Continue your journey aboard a jeep to explore the renowned Merapi volcano, one of Indonesia's most picturesque volcanoes. It’s fairly easy to be completely absorbed by its beauty so don’t forget to capture unforgettable moments against the backdrop of this stunning natural wonder.

 

Conclude the tour with a visit to the magnificent Prambanan, a mesmerizing Hindu temple compound constructed in the 10th century. The Prambanan stands as the largest temple complex devoted to Shiva in Indonesia and it’s certainly a fascinating experience: three temples adorned with intricate reliefs depicting the epic tale of the Ramayana. These temples are dedicated to the worship of three prominent Hindu deities - Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma - along with the animals that serve and accompany them.
