Puntuk Setumbu is a small hill located about 3 km west of Borobudur Temple. From its summit at dawn, you a short 10 minutes’ drive from Plataran to the starting point, continued by 15 minutes of trekking up to the summit. Traditional morning tea and coffee will be served at the summit while you are enjoying the view up there.

The Borobudur Temple Compounds is one of temples that every visitor can enjoy the mystical panorama of the temple, the surrounding Kedu valley and distant mountain peaks. The trip involves the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world and was built in the 8th and 9th centuries AD during the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty. The monument is located in the Kedu Valley, in the southern part of Central Java, at the centre of the island of Java, Indonesia.

The Kraton or called Sultan Palace is a grand complex that was meticulously planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos. This elegant complex of pavilions was constructed based on ancient beliefs, of the connection between the God, human and the natural realms. Each feature holds a special symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview, who considers the importance of Mount Merapi and The Indian Ocean.

Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. A heritage site established in the 9th century which located in Prambanan Village Klaten regency, Central Java and administratively belongs to two districts and two provinces at once. Those are Sleman and Klaten Regency. The distance is about 20 km from city of Yogyakarta. Prambanan is beautiful and unique. It has a large garden. There are four temples in one complex, namely Prambanan, Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu temples.

  • 06.00 - 07.00 am-> Have breakfast in local restaurant on your own
  • 07.00 - 08.30 am -> Proceed to Borobudur (reserve & buy ticket in temple)
  • 08.30 – 11.00 am-> See and explore Borobudur
  • 11.00 – 12.30 pm-> Proceed to Kraton (Sultan Palace)
  • 12.30 – 13.30 pm-> see and enjoy Kraton
  • 13.30 - 14.30 pm -> Have lunch on your own before entering Prambanan.
  • 14.30 – 14.45 pm-> Head for Prambanan Temple
  • 14.45 – 16.30 pm-> Explore the temple
  • 16.30 – 17.15 pm-> Drop off Hotel in Yogyakarta. Tour ends
