Tour Description


Start the day with pickup from your accommodation in Yogyakarta and travel to Jomblang Cave. Located in the southern part of Yogyakarta, it will take about 1,5-hour travel from Yogyakarta. This exciting journey will take you down into the Jomblang cave to witness the celestial radiance that graces the depths of this unique place. Prepare yourself by putting on your rappelling harness, then descend vertically into the cave for a new and exciting feeling. Traverse a 270-meter journey through the dark, muddy tunnel until you reach the point where sunlight gracefully pierces the cave from above and you will certainly marvel at this sight. After your daring abseiling escapade, you can recharge and savor a well-deserved lunch.

 

 

 

After your culinary adventure you may continue your tour to visit Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple compound in Indonesia built back in the 10th century. The temple dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and comprises 240 individual constructions. Your Jomblang Cave tour includes convenient transfers between the locations in an air-conditioned vehicle and admission fees to all the sights.

  • 06.30 – 07.00 am Pick up hotel in Yogyakarta.
  • 07.00 - 08.30 am Drive direct to Jomblang
  • 08.30 – 09.30 am Arrive in Jomblang & have morning hot coffee or tea welcomes you. Prepare for adventure tour.
